Sea surface currents from MITgcm 2023 GoT run, October-November period

Abstract

Sea current velocities (U: zonal, V: meridional) extracted from the first layer (0.5 m thick) of the MITgcm simulation for the Gulf of Trieste (GoT) for 2023; hourly averages, subset from October to November. The simulation setup is modified from the provisional ocenographic operational model for the GoT found at https://medeaf.ogs.it/got.
