Conference paper on in-house experiences in computer science education of freshman by introducing Python programming for PSSOH 2018 conference organized by the University of Belgrade - School of Electrical Engineering. Abstract in English: "Programming courses are important part in education of electrical and computer engineers. In the past several years, there is an ongoing dispute about which programming language should be first taught to freshman students. In this paper, we present our experiences with the introduction of the programming language Python to a volunteer, experimental group of freshman students. We discuss the motivation for the choice of Python, the content and organization of the course, student success, and potential problems with introduction of Python for freshman students."
