This repository material (codes and .csv files) allows to perform the main analyses of this manuscript. The material is divided in two folders: 1) The Folder 1 (DATA AND CODES FOR THE GB) has the data and codes for the analyses corresponding to the Great Basin of North America. El .R files (ANALYSIS_MOD09Q1.R, ANALYSIS_MYD09Q1.R, ANALYSIS_MOD13Q1.R, and ANALYSIS_MYD13Q1.R) are the codes to run Random Forest classifications. These classification must be run with the corresponding .CSV files (Data_MOD09Q1_UTAH, Data_MYD09Q1_UTAH, Data_MOD13Q1_UTAH, and Data_MYD13Q1_UTAH). In the subfolder, BOX PLOT AND ANOVA, you can performed the comparison among the different classification. 2) The Folder 2 (DATA AND CODES FOR THE CGE) has the data and codes for the analyses corresponding to the Chocó-Darien of South America. El .R files (MOD09Q1.R, MYD09Q1.R, MOD13Q1.R, and MYD13Q1.R) are the codes to run Random Forest classifications. These classification must be run with the corresponding .CSV files (TABLA_MOD09Q1_noNA, TABLA_MOD09Q1_noNA, TABLA_MOD09Q1_noNA, and TABLA_MOD09Q1_noNA); these .CSV files are the data without NAs. The original are the files: TABLA_MOD09Q1, TABLA_MOD09Q1, TABLA_MOD09Q1, and TABLA_MOD09Q1. Also, in the subfolder BOX PLOT AND ANOVA, you can performed the comparison among the different classification.
