Abstract

Contribución del zoólogo cusqueño Ismael Ceballos, donde propone los pisos biogeograficos para el departamento del Cusco, Perú: Piso de Cordillera (más de 4500 m), Piso de Puna (3700-4500 m), Piso de Qheshwa o de Quebrada (Valles interandinos, 3700-2500 m), Piso de Valles Serranos o Interandinos (Valles interandinos, 2500-1900 m), Piso de la Ceja de Montaña o Ceja de Selva (Vertientes orientales, 3800-1800 m) y Piso de Yunka (1800–800 m), con base en la revisión de los trabajos sobre biogeografía andina, que incluye a los ocho Pisos Ecológicos de Pulgar Vidal, hasta la propuesta de Zonas de Vida de Holdridge. Contribution of the Peruvian zoologist Ismael Ceballos, where he proposes the biogeographic floors for the department of Cusco, Peru: Cordillera floor (more than 4500 m), Puna floor (3700-4500 m), Qheshwa or Quebrada floor (Inter-Andean valleys, 3700-2500 m), Serrano or Inter-Andean Valleys Floor (Inter-Andean Valleys, 2500-1900 m), Mountain Eyebrow Floor (Oriental Slopes, 3800-1800 m) and Yunka Floor (1800-800 m) ), based on the review of the works on Andean biogeography, which includes the eight Ecological Floors of Pulgar Vidal, up to the proposed Life Zones of Holdridge.
