O teatro possível na pandemia de COVID-19: as criações do Grupo Galpão entre 2020 e 2022

Abstract

Resumo Este artigo busca analisar brevemente as criações de teatro digital do Grupo Galpão, de Belo Horizonte, feitas nos anos de isolamento social imposto pela pandemia de COVID-19 entre 2020 e 2022. Ainda que seus integrantes sejam todos imigrantes digitais (PRENSKY, 2001), o Galpão foi um dos grupos de teatro brasileiros mais ativos digitalmente e criou nove trabalhos ao longo desse período. A trupe completou 40 anos de trabalho em 2022 e não havia, ainda, experimentado formas de substituição do convívio de atores, técnicos e espectadores por tecnologias digitais em seus espetáculos. Abstract This article seeks to briefly analyze the digital theater creations of Grupo Galpão, from Belo Horizonte, made during the years of social isolation imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic between 2020 and 2022. Even though its members are all digital immigrants (PRENSKY, 2001), Galpão was one of the most active Brazilian theater groups and created nine works throughout this period. The troupe completed 40 years of work in 2022 and had not yet tryed ways of replacing the interaction of actors, technicians and spectators with digital technologies in their plays.
