Abstract

Abstract Collective practices gain prominence in contemporary art. In this context, the transversality embedded in the collective can reach the political field of resistance. Collaborative contact networks are constantly being established and moving. Thus, they often slip into struggles raised by sociocultural movements, such as feminist movements. In this sense, this doctoral research is anchored in collective creation processes in Performance Art among women. The focus of the work lies on the collective that drives the artistic poetics in progress. Methodologically, the study aims to form groups and joint actions, as well as writing artist diaries as a procedure for creation in studios. To this end, Basbaum, Paim and Mesquita support the collectivity discussed in proposal, while Phelan, Medeiros and Taylor support historical and ontological perspectives of creation in performance. The research is in initial phase and, to date, two Performances have been carried out, Pedras da Minha Vida and Apedrejadas. Keywords: Collective; Performance Art; Women.
