Abstract

This study explores the practical and theoretical aspects related to the development of the artistic object titled Bio-digital Impressions, a computational artifact that seeks to investigate the interaction between information and nature, conducted in the context of the PANORAM4 residency (Labfront/UEMG). The work represents a point of convergence between traditional and emerging techniques, promoting the intersection of cultural and ecological thought. In the theoretical realm, the text aims to articulate issues related to artistic experimentation that incorporates computational technologies and organisms in its conception, bringing together thoughts from scholars in the field with artists. The study aims to understand the aesthetic and poetic potentials that emerge from the singularities present in the processes and technical aspects of the machine and the hybridization with natural organisms.
