Abstract

Le Hirak algérien est un mouvement de contestation caractérisé par l’omniprésence et l’usage intense des slogans écrits sur les pancartes. Ces expressions chargées d’un ton violent sont un canal important de la communication entre les manifestants et le pouvoir. Cette recherche qualitative se focalise sur l’étude des formes et des stratégies discursives de la violence verbale dans six slogans écrits du Hirak. Nous explorons également ses finalités. Pour ce faire, nous optons pour trois niveaux d’analyses : pragmatique, rhétorique et lexico-sémantique. Les résultats de l’analyse ont démontré que la violence verbale est protéiforme. Elle s’est manifestée sous forme d’actes de langage condamnatoires et menaçants, des mots d’ordre percutants et des stratégies rhétoriques, notamment les figures de style, qui dégagent tous les sens péjoratifs. Son usage est lié à l’affirmation de soi, la (dé)construction identitaire et l’agir sur l’autre.
