Macroinvertebrados Acuáticos De Puerto Rico Como Bioindicadores De La Calidad Ambiental

Abstract

A photographic guide of the dominant families of macroinvertebrates in stream ecosystems in Puerto Rico, with information on their size and tolerance to pollution. The guide includes a protocol to calculate two indices of water quality for Puerto Rico, the BMWP and the FBI.
