Abstract

[ES]El arte rupestre, uno de los testimonios m?s antiguos de la capacidad creativa humana, es el tema central sobre el que gira el Congreso Internacional ?El Arte de las Sociedades Prehist?ricas? (ASP). Este evento cient?fico, cuya primera edici?n se celebr? en Toulouse en 2008 bajo el auspicio del Centre de Recherche et d??tude de l?Art Pr?historique (CREAP), ha recorrido un largo trayecto por diversas ciudades de Europa occidental, consolid?ndose como un foro de referencia en el estudio de las manifestaciones gr?ficas prehist?ricas. Uno de los objetivos m?s destacados del VIII Congreso ASP ha sido, desde sus inicios, fomentar el di?logo entre investigadores consolidados y j?venes acad?micos que comienzan su carrera en este campo. En un momento donde la investigaci?n cient?fica en esta disciplina se enfrenta grandes desaf?os como el relevo generacional o los problemas derivados del cambio clim?tico, es m?s necesario que nunca abrir espacios a las nuevas generaciones. El intercambio de ideas entre veteranos y j?venes promete revitalizar la disciplina y abrir nuevas l?neas de investigaci?n. Este congreso no es solo una ventana para comunicar hallazgos y teor?as, sino una oportunidad ?nica para que los nuevos investigadores presenten sus propuestas y para que surjan colaboraciones internacionales que fortalezcan el estudio del arte rupestre. En un mundo donde la inmediatez tecnol?gica parece dominar todos los aspectos de la vida, resulta vital recordar el valor de las manifestaciones culturales m?s antiguas de la humanidad, aquellas que surgieron mucho antes de la escritura. El arte rupestre no es solo un vestigio del pasado; es un puente que nos conecta con las ra?ces mismas de nuestra especie. Al estudiarlo, no solo estamos desenterrando im?genes grabadas o pintadas en la roca, sino tambi?n los pensamientos, creencias y emociones de quienes las crearon hace miles de a?os.
