Piloting a more inclusive Erasmus+ grant: Impact Study

Abstract

This Impact Study presents the results of a pilot comparison between students participating in the existing Erasmus+ grant system and those testing the new "Erasmus for All (E4All) grant proposal." Conducted during the 2023/2024 academic year, the study involved control and experimental groups, with the latter receiving predefined top-ups. This comparative analysis aimed to validate the effectiveness of the revised grant methodology. The findings offer key insights into the potential benefits of the E4All proposal for future student mobility initiatives. The “Erasmus for All” project aims to tackle the low levels of Higher Education (HE) student participation in Erasmus mobility exchange by proposing a more economically viable scholarship scheme that will allow any HE students to spend part of their studies abroad in any of the 33 programme countries.
