Greenhouse gas profiles from the 2021 HEMERA-TWIN balloon launch

Abstract

The dataset contains mixing ratio observations of o long-lived greenhouse gase carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O) and (SF6) from the HEMERA TWIN gonodola launch from Kiruna (Sweden) on 12. August 2021. Profile data for CO2 and CH4 from AirCore sampling and CH4 data from the PICO IR laser spectrometer cover altitudes from the PBL to 32km. 14 cryogenic air samples collected between 14 and 31 km altitude have been analysed for all four gases.
