‘Medieval Irish and Medieval Icelandic Texts in Nineteenth-Century Translation’ (MIRMINT) was a Marie Skłodowska Curie project, hosted in the Institute of History (Sagnfræðistofnun) at the University of Iceland between August 2022 and July 2024, under grant agreement 101026870. The aim of the project was to investigate what medieval texts from Ireland and Iceland were selected for translation by scholars in the nineteenth century in Ireland, Iceland, and Denmark respectively, and to see whether any rationale could be found for why these texts were selected. The main deliverable of this project was a database of texts which were translated over the course of the nineteenth century.
