ANTI-RACIST EDUCATION AND SOCIAL VULNERABILITY: IS THE RESTRICTION OF LIVERIGHT A HARBINGER OF SOCIAL JUSTICE?

Abstract

Este artículo cualitativo se centra en el análisis de la Educación Antirracista, con foco en la vulnerabilidad y restricción de la libertad de los adolescentes en riesgo. La estructuración teórico-metodológica del presente estudio estuvo pautada por la investigación sistemática de Historia Oral de Vida e Historia Oral Temática, cuya estructuración de procedimientos delimitó todas las etapas de la investigación, originándose en este artículo, seguido de los presupuestos de José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy (1991, 1994, 2005). Los resultados son tratados a la luz de la educación antirracista y con la pregunta de qué justicia social estamos ofreciendo a nuestras(os) adolescentes en formación.

This qualitative article focuses on the analysis of Anti-Racist Education, with a focus on vulnerability and restriction of freedom for adolescents at risk. The theoretical-methodological structuring of the present study was guided by the systematic research of Oral History of Life and Oral Thematic History, whose structuring of procedures delimited all the stages of the research, originating in this article, followed by the assumptions of José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy (1991 , 1994, 2005). The results are treated in the light of anti-racist education and with the question of what social justice we are offering to our adolescents in training.

O presente artigo de caráter qualitativo prima pela análise da Educação Antirracista, com enfoque na vulnerabilidade e restrição de liberdade a adolescentes em risco. A estruturação teórico-metodológica do presente estudo balizou-se pela pesquisa sistemática de História Oral de Vida e História Oral Temática, cuja estruturação de procedimentos delimitou todas as etapas da pesquisa, originária deste artigo, seguido pelos pressupostos de José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy (1991, 1994, 2005). Os resultados são tratados à luz da educação antirracista e com o questionamento de que justiça social estamos a ofertar a nossos(as) adolescentes em formação.
