Records: D. Solano 4530 (BM, INB, MO, PMA), S. Bridgewater 4167 (BM, INB, MO, PMA). Uses: Firewood, ornamental. ψ Inga exalata T.S.Elias Terrestrial trees. Distribution in PILA 500–1300 m, low elevation mixed forest, mixed forest in transition to low elevation forest, mixed forest in transition to cloud forest. Global distribution: Costa Rica, Panama. Records: A.K. Monro 6328 (PMA), G. Herrera 2703 (INB, MO). Uses: Firewood. Global conservation status: Endangered (EN), A2c and B1ab(i,iii).
