3.4. Frangula plena (MacGinitie) Doweld, comb. nov. Basionym:— Rhamnus plena MacGinitie (1937: 146, pl. 12: fig. 4) (‘ plenus ’). Type:— UCMP 1053 (University of California Museum of Paleontology, Berkeley, USA). Geography:—Redding Creek, Hay Fork, Trinity Co., California, USA. Stratigraphy:—Oligocene. Status:—Leaves. IFPNI registration record:— 79FBCAFF-543D-4278-BB08-1EE8225E283D. Note:—The fossil-species is compared with extant Frangula crenata (Siebold & Zuccarini 1845: 146) Miquel (1867: 32).
