São Paulo, ad oppidulum Ypanema, s.d., Sellow s.n. (holotype B†; lectotype LE! (LE00007542), designated here). Notes—The holotype of Eugenia ypanemensis has been destroyed in Berlin. The only isotype found, in LE, is designated as the lectotype. Distribution:—Concentrated at the area of Tropic of Capricorn, between coordinates 20 o and 30 o S, in seasonal forest.
