
Decalepidanthus flavescens (Rafiq) Dickoré & Hilger, comb. nov. Basionym:— Pseudomertensia flavescens Rafiq (1996: 296). Type:— PAKISTAN. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Kohistan, Palas Valley, Tikoh Sar, 3000–3500 m, 16 June 1994, R.A.Rafiq 14291 (holo RAW, iso W!). This taxon is known only from the type (“fls. yellow”), and of one other specimen collected nearby (Palas Valley, Magri–Shushe bek, 2200–2900 m, R.A.Rafiq 14192 (W!, “fl. white”). Other than by discoloured (albino?) corollas, it may not differ substantially from D. trollii.
