Thymus belgradiensis Ronniger 1924

Abstract

Thymus belgradiensis Ronniger (1924b: 385) Type (lectotype, designated here):— SERBIA. Serbia bor. Belgrad: Weg nach Visnica, June 1988, Bornmüller s.n. (W-Ronniger 1997-0000569!; image of the lectotype is available at http://herbarium.univie.ac.at/database/detail. php? ID =156229). Protologue citation:—“ Belgrad: Weg nach Višnica (Bornm. a. 1888)”. Taxonomic notes:— Thymus belgradiensis belongs to the Th. odoratissimus species complex. Further studies will be necessary to definitely establish the systematic position of this taxon.
