The holotype has disappeared (Rwanda, Kirunga Volcano [Virunga Mts.], north of Lake Kivu, 7500–8000 ft. elev., G. Goetzen 98 [holotype B]); no isotype has been found. We select as the neotype P. Auquier 2369, matching the protologue, collected in the same region and at about the same altitude as the holotype.
