Stuhlmann 943 (lectotype B designated by Bruce (1940) destroyed; isolectotype K [K 000405740] fragment). = Pycnostachys rotundatodentata De Wild., Pl. Bequaert. 4: 391. 1928. Type: DR. CONGO, Ruwenzori, Kisuki, 6 Jun 1914, J. Bequaert 4701 (lectotype: BR, designated by Bramley in Paton et al. (2009) [BR 0000008909756], [BR 0000008910080]). Description. Paton et al. (2009: 407), as Pycnostachys eminii Gürke. Distribution. Cameroon to Ethiopia and NW Tanzania. Habitat and ecology. Savannah; 1100–2600 m elev. Additional specimens. DR.
