Abstract Wheat is an important component of the human diet and its production plays a key role in food safety. The usefulness of wheat has expanded and young sprouts have been identified as beneficial in terms of nutrition. Wheatgrass has excellent nutritional and nutritious value and is an excellent product for proper nutrition and health. An excellent choice for growing wheatgrass at any time of the year is modern hydroponics technology - a type of soilless gardening. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using an aqueous nutrient-rich solution instead of soil with mechanical support of an inert environment, and may include a growing medium or substrate. This article reviews numerous scientific researches that confirm the presence of 17 amino acids, vitamins A, C, E, minerals, proteins, chlorophyll, carotene, antioxidants, phenolic compounds in wheatgrass, juice and powder obtained from wheatgrass juice.
