The bat species identified by the authors and added to the species list for Roşia Montană are:Rhinolophus hipposideros, Myotis brandtiiandPipistrellus (=Hypsugo) savii. Rhinolophus hipposiderosis included in the Annex II of the Directive of Habitats, and it is a key species in the National Programme for Bat Monitoring.
