
This note presents the first observation of Odontoplatys bidentulus in the Western Beskidy Mountains. O. bidentulus is a montane species distributed in the Carpathians and the mountains of the Balkan Peninsula. O. bidentulus lives on trees and herbaceous plants but its development is exclusively associated with Aruncus vulgaris. Additional information about the distribution of this species in Europe are also provided.
