Effective methods of transformational learning for adults

Abstract

Transformational learning is a unique method of adult education aimed at changing their perception and behavior. This training is based on the theory of andragogy proposed by Malcolm Knowles and the theory of transformational learning by Jack Mezirov, which focus on the importance of personal experience, internal motivation and practical application of knowledge. Transformational learning methods include informal learning, experimental approaches, mentoring, self-directed learning and group work, which promotes the development of critical thinking and self-efficacy of students. Transformational learning requires deep reflection and active involvement in the learning process, ensuring sustainable changes in beliefs and behavior, which is especially important in a rapidly changing modern world.
