Reproduction package for the paper: NetCL: A Unified Programming Framework for In-Network Computing - Supercomputing 2024 Usage Download the VM image and import it to VirtualBox. If asked for credentials use username: nc, and password: nc. We have also set up SSH port forwarding at port 10042 for headless mode (from host: ssh -p 10042 nc@localhost). The provided VM already contains the artifact repository under $HOME/netcl-paper-artifact.The script $HOME/netcl-paper-artifact/run-all.sh will generate all plots in the paper. The only exception is the "P4C" row of Table IV, the entire Table V, and the "Worst Case PHV" row of Table VI. This is because they require Intel's proprietary P4 toolchain which we are not allowed to distribute. Access to Intel's P4 toolchain can be requested here. Once you have access, please follow the instructions to install the SDE under $HOME/bf-sde-9.13.0. If done correctly, our scripts will also produce Table IV's "P4C" row. For Table V and the missing row of Table VI, you will need to manually inspect the output of Intel's p4i tool.To do so, after executing the run_all.sh from above, start p4i with $HOME/bf-sde-9.13.0/install/bin/p4i and then open a browser and visit http://localhost:3000. If all went well you should now be seeing p4i's web interface. You can now load the P4C output of each program, and manually inspect the report. The P4C outputs are found at $HOME/netcl-paper-artifact/programs//.tofino. For instance for the program agg, the directory $HOME/netcl-paper-artifact/programs/agg/agg.tofino needs to be loaded to p4i
