Datasets and code related to the article "Independent Transitions to Fully Planktonic Life Cycles Shaped the Global Distribution of Medusozoans in the Epipelagic Zone" The file Boosten-Sant-et-al-2025_codes.zip contains three folders: 'data' – Input files used in the analyses. 'figure_codes' – Scripts used to generate the main figures, supplementary figures, and tables. 'otu_assignment_codes' – Scripts for OTU assignment, including pplacer analyses and 18S sequence alignment.
