
Reliable electricity is crucial for the effective operation and growth of entrepreneurial businesses. In Nigeria, persistent issues with insufficient and unreliable power supply have significantly impacted business activities, despite various government interventions aimed at resolving the problem. This study investigates the relationship between power failures and entrepreneurial behavior in Akwa Ibom State, specifically within the Uyo metropolis. It examines how frequent power disruptions affect entrepreneurial activities, productivity, and business sustainability. By analyzing the experiences of local entrepreneurs and the challenges they face due to unreliable power supply, the study highlights the ongoing struggles and provides insights into potential solutions for improving power infrastructure to support business growth. The findings aim to inform policy makers and stakeholders about the critical need for reliable electricity to foster a conducive environment for entrepreneurship in the region
