NATI00NS – ENGAGEMENT EVENT: Explore the pathway towards a competitive proposal - Albania 2024

Abstract

The European Union has launched the Mission "Soil Deal for Europe" with the aim of ensuring the gradual creation of 100 Living Labs and Lighthouses in Europe, leading the transition towards healthy soils by 2030. By setting the year 2030 as the deadline, the Soil Mission represents an important step for achieving long-term policy goals, in line with the European Green Deal. On 3rd June 2024, the NATI00NS project, in collaboration with SCiDEV, is organising a day to raise awareness of the purpose of the soil mission, the new topics for Living Labs 2024 and how the NATI00NS project can help applicants. In addition, tips for Living Lab applications will be offered and some general experiences from last year's calls will be shared. You will also be able to show your interest in finding partners or make yourself known as a potential partner in the engagement and networking sessions. The NATI00NS project, funded under the HORIZON-MISS-2021-SOIL-02 call, is coordinated by the University of Aarhus (Denmark). The project acts as an ambassador for the Soil Mission, raising awareness among national and regional stakeholders, providing access to materials and information for capacity building, stimulating discussions on the best living labs to meet regional soil needs and facilitating early networking between living labs across different European regions. Those attending in person will also hear from key actors in the soil area and there will be time for networking, questions and to share your own experiences. We hope that researchers, public stakeholders, companies, associations and others interested in soil health - living laboratories will actively participate in the event.
