Anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) has driven large increases in the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O) resulted to climate change. Agriculture sector was considered as the largest contributor to global anthropogenic CH4 and N2O. GHG emissions from livestock sector in Indonesia were calculated using 2006 GL Tier 1 and Tier 2 method. This study was conducted to review GHG emissions from livestock sector, the source of GHG emissions coming from livestock sector, GHG emissions calculation from IPCC guideline, and the assessment of GHG emissions from livestock sector in order to give suggestion related to GHG emission calculation and to present the trends in emission intensity from livestock sector in perspective of the Paris Agreement. In the future, this will help to improve the methodology of calculating GHG emissions from livestock sector.
