Crisis en la distribución de películas nacionales en el conurbano

Abstract

El presente artículo se propone indagar las distintas dificultades que atraviesan las distribuidoras de cine en Argentina para distribuir películas nacionales en el territorio del conurbano. Para ello, el mismo estará dividido en cuatro apartados. En primer lugar, se analizarán las diferencias entre la distribución de cine nacional y cine estadounidense. En segundo lugar, se prestará especial atención sobre algunas resoluciones de la Ley de cine N° 17.74, respecto a la desregulación de la cuota de pantalla. En tercer lugar, se abordará la disputa entre las plataformas de streaming y las distribuidoras de cine por el tema de la exhibición. Por último, se especificarán las conclusiones que se han llegado con este trabajo. Abstract This article aims to investigate the different difficulties that film distributors in Argentina go through to distribute national films in the suburban territory. To do this, it will be divided into four sections. Firstly, the differences between the distribution of national cinema and American cinema will be analyzed. Secondly, special attention will be paid to some resolutions of Cinema Law No. 17.74, regarding the deregulation of the screen quota. Thirdly, the dispute between streaming platforms and film distributors over the issue of exhibition will be addressed. Finally, the conclusions reached with this work will be specified.
