Abstract

Kanker merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian, pengobatan kanker saat ini masih memiliki efek samping yang tinggi maka diperlukan obat yang memiliki efek samping yang rendah seperti obat herbal dari tumbuhan. Senyawa bioaktif tumbuhan memiliki manfaat sebagai antikanker. Penelitian terkait dengan antikanker dengan senyawa bioaktif tumbuhan sudah sering dilakukan maka diperlukan riset terbaru yang menggunakan ekstrak yang berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya serta target cell line serta metode yang digunakan pun berbeda. namun dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan kandidat obat kanker yang memiliki efek samping yang rendah dan teruji secara riset. Pada artikel ini menjelaskan beberapa riset terkait antikanker oleh peneliti-peneliti sebelumnya dari hal tersebut akan dijelaskan gap untuk penelitian selanjutnya.
