</script>This publication brings together 16 leaflets (in English and in local Languages) developed for the DEMO-sites of the EU H2020 PONDERFUL project (2020-2024). These summary “leaflet” cover each of the 16 demonstration pondscapes located across various EU countries, as well as Turkey and Uruguay. The main objective of the DEMO-SITES leaflets is to (i) present a selection of evidence-based success stories identified as part of the implementation of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for addressing societal challenges in those pondscapes (such as climate change and biodiversity loss), and (ii) promote the implementation of the best practice measures illustrated in the DEMO-sites leaflets to other pondscapes. The success stories are assessed in terms of indicators of Nature Contribution to People (NCP) and by a cost-benefit analysis. The leaflets were primarily written and designed for practitioners and other stakeholders, including NGOs, involved in land use planning and nature conservation management, but also for private citizens with an interest in issues linked with climate change and its impact on NCPs. The information provided in the leaflets is intentionally simplified to avoid scientific jargon and make the key results and messages from the PONDERFUL project accessible to a broad audience.
