Fire promoted opportunity for native grasses in a Neotropical grassland in Brazilian Cerrado invaded by the African grass Melinis minutiflora P. Beauv. (Poaceae). We studied the flowering species in four post-fire periods in a burned area of Serra da Canastra National Park, Brazil.
