Myrmecoris gracilis (R.F. Sahlberg, 1848) Comments This is a Sibero-European species that was recorded from Turkey, twice, by Yayla (1984) from Antalya and by Kıyak (2019) from Ankara. As discussed below, the record by Yayla (1984) was based on a misidentified specimen. Similarly, it is highly probable that the record by Kıyak (2019) too is based on the misidentification of a similar myrmecomorphic Heteroptera species. Therefore, this record needs confirmation.
