This paper presents the detailed geological investigations, i.e., lithological, sedimentological and paleontological ones, carried out in the territory of the Buzău Land Geopark, aiming to produce a Geological Map of this area at the scale 1:100,000. Along with new data, previously published results have been used. Eventually, the GIS map of the Buzău Land Geopark has been accomplished, representing an unique attempt in Romania.
