From many parts of India it has already vanished. To mark its importance be felt by local masses 20 March is now also The World Sparrow day and it was crowned the state bird of Delhi in 2012. Few Indian cities however still have them but their disappearance is a matter of global concern. This research work was administered to unveil various common causes of Sparrow volatility. Major findings that were observed were- lack of food/tree cover/insects/nesting sites; pollution, predation use of pesticides were other causes that were identified.
