Abstract

Hyaliodes beckeri Carvalho (Fig. 9-J) Hyaliodes beckeri Carvalho 1953 D:113 (original description, habitus illustration, figures of male genitalia). Diagnosis. Hyaliodes beckeri can be distinguished from other species in the genus by the dark inner side of the first antennal segment and posterior tibiae. Male with two small black spots on the lateral sides of the calli and genitalia structure (Carvalho 1953D). Male genitalia as figure 13-F. Prey. Predator of cassava tingid, Vatiga illudens (Heteroptera: Tingidae), in Brazil (Ferreira et al. 2015) Distribution. Brazil (Rio de Janeiro (Carvalho, 1957), Espírito Santo *: Domingos Martins).
