Type Locality: Saudi Arabia, " Insel Farsan" (Farasan Isls). Discussion: Known from only two specimens; see Groves (1983); even if formerly present on Farasan Isls, now replaced there by G. gazella farasani; see Thouless and Al Bassri (1991).
