Type Species: Phascogale macdonnellensis Spencer 1896 Species and subspecies: 6 species: Species Pseudantechinus bilarni Johnson 1954 Species Pseudantechinus macdonnellensis (Spencer 1896) Species Pseudantechinus mimulus (Thomas 1906) Species Pseudantechinus ningbing Kitchener 1988 Species Pseudantechinus roryi Cooper, Aplin and Adams 2000 Species Pseudantechinus woolleyae Kitchener and Caputi 1988 Discussion: Separated from Antechinus by Archer (1982:434), but retained in it by McKenna and Bell (1997).
