Distribution: Taiwan. Conservation: IUCN 2003 – not evaluated; not considered in IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001). Discussion: trifoliatus species group. Formerly considered a subspecies of luctus, but apparently distinct; see Yoshiyuki and Harada (1995) and Csorba et al. (2003).
