The article is devoted to the consideration of the essence of social and pedagogical activities in the classroom. Today, the factor of interaction and interdependence of the educational process with the social environment in which the student is immersed has acquired particular urgency and relevance. The position of a child in society differs from that of an adult. The child does not have complete independence, does not have the opportunity to defend his rights, fight for his interests. The paper makes a case for communicative approaches to children and young people in care and considers how these approaches can be used to establish and maintain synergies between care and education in the classroom. The term “social pedagogy” consists of two words – “pedagogy” and “social”, as if combining their meanings. This combination of two concepts is associated with the processes of differentiation and integration in science. The fact that social pedagogy has separated from pedagogy means that in its field of vision are the same processes and phenomena that are studied by pedagogy, but they are considered in a certain aspect.
