A faunistic survey on the hoverflies of the Wigry National Park was conducted during the 7th Dipterological Workshop (June 13-18, 2017). In total 121 species of Syrphidae were found. The list of hoverfly species recorded during Workshop was compared with result obtained in previous year. 35 species of Syrphidae were new for Wigry National Park including Mesembrius peregrinus (Loew, 1846) recorded on the most NE part of its range.
