
Abstract. The use of digital and information technologies in education has led to significant changes in this area. The availability of technical devices, required software and the Internet has contributed to the digitalization of higher education. The use of computers, tablets, smartphones, apps and programs has become a common practice among higher education seekers. The stages of digitalization of higher education in Ukraine and the main problems arising when organizing the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale invasion of Russia are considered. Continued access to education has become important for society in times of crisis. It is digital technologies that can ensure continuity and quality of education in times of crisis. The use of modern information and communication technologies not only makes the traditional educational process effective, but also leads to the emergence of new forms of learning and communication between participants in the educational process.
