This is an open database of calibrated background sound recordings with metadata on meteorological and acoustical parameters ready to be used in virtual reality applications, for soundsacpe studies. The soundscapes have been recorded at the IHTApark (green space next to the Institute for Hearing Technology and Acoustics) in Aachen (Germany) in winter and spring of 2022. They have been segemented into 30-seconds auralizable snippets.
