Report on the EOSC Winter School 2024

Abstract

The report contains a summary of the preparation, main activities, and outcome of the first EOSC Winter School, organised in Thessaloniki (Greece) in early 2024 by the EOSC Association with the support of the EOSC Focus project, the Horizon Europe (HE) EOSC-related projects, and local organisers from the RAISE project consortium. The EOSC Winter School aimed to increase collaboration among the EOSC-related projects funded by the European Commission as essential ingrediant towards creating EOSC, the “web of FAIR data and services” envisioned to implement Open Science in Europe. Through collaboration it envisioned that projects will be able to achieve an increased return on investment by delivering “one EOSC” that is more than the sum of the results of the individual projects.
