In the modern world, e-commerce plays a key role in economic development, and the digitalization process only enhances its influence. This scientific article provides a comparative analysis of the development of e-commerce in the world and in Uzbekistan in the context of digitalization. The main trends, challenges and prospects for the development of e-commerce are examined, and strategies that can be used to improve this process are discussed.
