Previously recorded: DeKalb, Gwinnett, Oconee, Rabun, Thomas, Towns, Upson. This European species has a global distribution, although records are patchy in the US and Canada (Sims & Gerard 1999). Remarks. The Murray Co. records of Octolasion cyaneum were from a study on the effects of large wildfires. Interestingly, O. cyaneum was only found in the unburned plots.
