Aclis dalli Bartsch, 1911 —revalidated Fig. 16 Aclis dalli Bartsch, 1911: 435, pl. 59, Fig. 2. Type material. Holotype (herein examined): USNM 94288. Type locality. Cuba: Blake Collection; 1426 m; W. H. Rush coll. Material examined. The holotype and: USA: off Georgia: USFC sta. 2668, 30°58′30″N, 79°38′30″W, 538 m, Steamer Albatross coll.: USNM 108042. Remarks. MolluscaBase (2021a) currently considers Aclis dalli Bartsch, 1911, from Cuba, (Fig. 16) as a junior synonym of A. sarissa, but there is no reference to the publication in which such synonymy is discussed. These species resemble each other by the convexity of teleoconch whorls and by the slightly oval aperture. However, A. sarissa is considerably shorter, narrower and with a wider apex than A. dalli, which should be considered as a valid species.
