Aplicaciones de visión artificial para la monitorización de sistemas de drenaje urbano

Abstract

Artículo presentado en las VII Jornadas de Ingeniería del Agua Resumen: En este trabajo de investigación se muestran diversos casos de aplicación específicas de la visión artificial orientada a la hidrología urbana como la técnica LSPIV (Large Scale Particle Image Velocimetry), medición de niveles de agua y el análisis del transporte de cargas contaminantes en la superficie de una calle durante episodios de lluvia. En esta comunicación se incluyen los resultados preliminares obtenidos exponiéndose las principales consideraciones relativas a su implementación mediante sistemas de procesamiento de bajo coste y consumo. Los trabajos presentados se están desarrollando en el ámbito de las actividades de investigación conjunta del proyecto Co-UDlabs (www.Co-UDlabs.eu), proyecto europeo H2020 liderado por la Universidade da Coruña y cuyo objetivo general es integrar las actividades de investigación e innovación en el campo de los sistemas de drenaje urbano (UDS) promoviendo una comunidad europea de innovación en materia de drenaje urbano para hacer frente a los acuciantes retos que se presentan en cuanto a salud pública, riesgo de inundaciones y cuidado del medio ambiente.
